Our major summer exhibition is now open!
The museum has just received news it has been awarded a Costume Society Museum Placement Award.
The Museum Café has great coffee, a daily specials board, cakes, cream teas and the best view of Salisbury Cathedral in town!
Funding from Arts Council England and the Pilgrim Trust has helped us to create an online collections database. This contains items from our nationally important Pitt-Rivers collection.

The Salisbury Museum uses its collections, building and services to encourage learning, inspiration and enjoyment. Self-guided visits are free for schools funded by Wiltshire Council.
The King’s House is a unique and atmospheric location opposite Salisbury Cathedral. Two rooms are now available for civil marriages and civil partnerships.
