If you are interested in history and archaeology then this is an amazing opportunity to begin a career in museums. You will be based at Salisbury Museum in the Cathedral Close, working with our nationally important collections, and gaining experience with customer service, exhibitions and events. You will join the museum at an exciting time. Last year we completed a master plan that sets out a vision for the redevelopment of the museum over the next five to ten years. We now need to set about turning these ideas into reality by fundraising and developing a wider awareness of the museum on a regional and national scale. Whilst at the museum you will undertake a nationally recognised Creative and Cultural Apprenticeship at Wiltshire College, following the Cultural Heritage and Venue Operations pathway.
