Adrian Green
Director
Adrian Green has overall responsibility for all aspects of the Museum, which encompasses managing the collections, building, displays, temporary exhibitions and staff. Adrian’s main priorities at the moment are increasing visitor numbers, widening access to the collections and redeveloping the Museum building.


Jane Ellis-Schon

Collections Manager
Jane Ellis-Schön is responsible for care, interpretation and documentation of the Museum’s collections, particularly the Designated archaeological collections. She organises the popular Archaeology Lecture series and supervises the Museum’s extensive volunteer programme.

Kim Chittick

Exhibitions Officer
Kim Chittick plans and delivers the Museum’s exciting and varied programme of temporary exhibitions. This includes co-ordinating external exhibitions and generating in house projects.

 
Ruth Butler
Learning and Access Officer
Ruth Butler develops and implements the Museum’s educational plan, providing educational sessions for all ages and social backgrounds, encouraging lifelong learning among the Museum’s target audiences.


Ian Strong
Finance Manager
The financial affairs of the Museum Trust are carefully managed by Ian Strong. Ian not only keeps a close eye on the budgets to make savings, but also helps the Museum to generate more revenue through fund raising initiatives.


Katie Hinds

Finds Liaison Officer

Katie Hinds works for the Portable Antiquities Scheme as the Finds Liaison Officer for Wiltshire. It is her responsibility to record the many thousands of finds reported to the scheme by local metal detector users.


Valerie Overton

Cleaner
Valerie Overton has the huge task of keeping the King’s House clean. From polishing cases to vacuuming the floor, Val can often be seen around the Museum enthusiastically undertaking her duties.
