What's On

Every Wednesday from 31 March 2010 to 19 May 2010. This course is designed to give an introduction to some of the different visual arts mediums, starting with drawing with graphite through to oil paints. Because Object Expressions is being jointly delivered by the museum, participants will also have special access to a wonderful collection of objects chosen to complement the visual arts medium being explored that week. From Natural History to Costume, the subject matter will be as varied as the materials being used, helping beginners understand better the properties of different mediums whilst more experienced artists can take advantage of this rare opportunity to use a museum collection as their inspiration.
