Description

What do a medieval giant, a Chinese Emperor's robe and a bacon cooker all have in common? This week you will be able to find out when we present ten objects from Wiltshire's museums that help place the story of Wiltshire within its global context. This event is all part of a major new project for the BBC – A History of the World.

This will also be your opportunity to make a contribution to the project by nominating your own objects that help to link Wiltshire's past to world events. Throughout the week you will be able to bring objects to the museum and upload them on to a digital museum on the BBC website.
