Wednesday 17 November. A talk by Tom Beaumont James, Professor Emeritus, Winchester University.
The first of an annual series of lectures on different aspects of Clarendon. Tom Beaumont James is the co-author of ‘Clarendon: Landscape of Kings’ and leader of fieldwork on the Clarendon Project. The ruined Medieval royal palace was the largest residence outside London. The proceeds of the lecture will be shared between the Museum and ‘Friends of Clarendon’.
The evening will begin at 6.30 pm with a glass of wine in the Museum's History of Salisbury Galleries followed by the lecture in the lecture hall.
