The exhibition will also include interviews with local people who will tell their stories about visiting the stones (courtesy of the National Trust’s Stonehenge Landscape team). In addition, Bemerton Local History Group will be helping to undertake reminiscence work with the local community and our education service will also be offering sessions about the exhibition in local schools. The Mencap Blue Skies Club in Salisbury will be developing an Arts Project and Julian Richards will be conducting some special access visits to the stones – when visitors will be able to get closer to the monument itself. The exhibition will also be touring to other venues in Wiltshire; Chippenham Museum later this year and Wiltshire Heritage Museum in 2009.
