Choir and Lady Chapel, Salisbury Cathedral, 1797
Watercolour by J M W Turner (1775-1851).

This lovely watercolour looks towards the east end of the Cathedral, to the window by Sir Joshua Reynolds that depicted the Resurrection. This window was removed in the mid 1800s; the space is now occupied by the striking Prisoners of Conscience window.
