Model of Pentre Ifan Cromlech, Pembrokeshire
Pitt Rivers's models are a unique record of his excavations and indeed of the many sites and monuments that he visited in his role as Inspector of Ancient Monuments. These were produced by craftsmen who worked on the Rushmore Estate under the supervision of Pitt Rivers himself.
