Salisbury Gunsmithing
Salisbury possessed a flourishing gunsmithing trade in the 1700s and 1800s. One of the main gun making families at that time was Rhoades. This pocket revolver was made by Charles Rhoades, whose business was first in Queen Street and, after 1844, in Catherine Street.
