Jadeite Axehead
4,000 – 3,000 BC
Reputed to be from Stonehenge, this is an extremely rare and beautiful find. It is made from jadeite, a type of stone likely to have come from the Swiss Alps. The surface has been polished with another softer stone to make it smooth.
