Description
Friday 2 April – Saturday 26 June 2010. Between 2007 and 2009, a group of international artists have gathered in the Stonehenge landscape. Together they responded to the continuing archaeological excavations of the Stonehenge Riverside Project. Two artists also held residencies at the Museum as part of the final season of work. In this encounter between art and archaeology, we exhibit the artists’ varied and eclectic reaction to archaeological processes of discovery and documentation. Join us in a journey of discovery which starts way back in the Stonehenge landscape itself.
