Description

Thursday 16 February 2012. Bags of Creativity - a half-term workshop led by artist Suzie Gutteridge. Join us on 16th February for a drop-in workshop and be part of a new art installation at Salisbury Museum.
Bring the family to the Museum this half-term and create a piece of artwork that will go on display in a new exhibition in April. Suzie Gutteridge will show you how to turn an unwanted item of clothing into a “Sweete Bag” – a sweet-smelling lavender bag inspired by Tudor pomanders. All you need to bring with you is a piece of old clothing, preferably with a pocket, along with any old buttons, ribbon, etc. that can be used for decoration. Suzie will guide you through the process of turning it into a new object with a new purpose. See your finished work on display as part of Suzie’s new exhibition from 21st April, 2012.
