The Museum will hold a reception in the striking 18th century Great Schoolroom and the beautiful garden of the Salisbury Cathedral School, one of the most picturesque buildings in the Close. The Cathedral School was founded in 1091 by Osmund, the nephew of William the Conqueror and Bishop of Salisbury. From the garden can be seen one of Constable’s most famous views of the Cathedral.
 
Drinks and canapés will be served.
 
The Schoolroom (formerly the Drawing Room of the Bishop’s Palace) is approached by a flight of stairs. Access to the garden should be possible over the lawns.
