This summer join Salisbury Museum to explore the wonders and delights of Salisbury’s culinary past in our forthcoming fun-filled exhibition for all the family.
In the age of the celebrity chef, free range chicken and healthy school dinners this exhibition looks at Salisbury’s culinary experiences – ranging from beer to battered sausages. Local stories will help you explore Salisbury’s unique position as a place of refuge and refreshment, whilst the city’s vibrant heritage of inns and breweries, markets and restaurants will give you plenty of food for thought.
We are looking for local people and businesses to be involved with the exhibition. If you have any historic and modern artefacts to help us build locally significant culinary stories then please contact Kim Chittick on 01722 332151 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
This could include bottle collections, printed ephemera, photographs and stories about the development of the public house or manufacturer.
