6.30 pm drinks; 7.00 pm talk. Our speaker is James Ayres, FSA, President of the Wiltshire Buildings Record and a distinguished author on English interiors. Together with Tom Beaumont, Mr Ayres has been given special access to the interior of the fascinating mansion that followed the Royal Palace in Clarendon Park. It was first constructed in the seventeenth century but was enlarged in the following two centuries. Come and hear about this important but little known house on the outskirts of Salisbury.
