Description

Wednesday 20 October 2010 – Saturday 15 January 2011.  Salisbury’s recent past lays claim to a thriving music scene and attracted top name stars who played its numerous venues.  Buddy Holly performed at The Gaumont, The Kinks at the City Hall and of course Salisbury had its own home grown talent in the form of Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich.  Waltz down memory lane as we explore the City’s musical heritage.

The exhibition will be staged by Frogg Moody and Richard Nash, the authors of Hold Tight!, to coincide with the publication of their follow-up book on the 70s to 90s music scene, Endless Beat.
