Using the Turner's Wessex exhibition as inspiration, artist Ann Hambly, of Plain Arts Salisbury, will lead a workshop in color. Starting with the brilliant colour choices Turner made, you will have the opportunity to find out more about mixing and using watercolour. This workshop is suitable for artists of all abilities. Ann has suggested the following materials for use in the workshop.
Paints – either tubes or pans in the following colours: Paynes Grey (or a neutral tint), Light Red, Chinese White, Golden Yellow, Hookers Green, Blue Cerulean.
Paper – Good quality watercolour paper A3 or A4, weight 140lbs
Brushes – A 6 and a 12
Sundries – kitchen paper and a water container
