Rosemary has been studying the history of chocolate drinking for a number of years. This goes alongside her researching and collecting antique English ceramic chocolate cups, a subject on which she has published an academic paper.  The talk will look at the origins of the drink, way back in pre-historic central America, it’s movement to the Courts of Europe and the story of the 17th and 18th century chocolate drinking habit in England, which has been largely been forgotten.
