An accompanied tour, object handling and conversation as part of the Silver Salisbury Programme
Tour the museum with our Community Curator, looking at our collections from a personal point of view and finding the stories in the objects. The tour is followed by tea, biscuits and conversation and a chance to hear about our project 'The Meaning of Things'. Explore what we keep, and why by looking at the objects, new and old, chosen by members of our local community.
Silver Salisbury is a city-wide programme of opportunities for older people to meet old friends and make new ones trying out a whole range of activities at many venues across the City and beyond
Access: The tour will be no more than 40 minutes long and will remain on the ground floor. The second half of this event is seated. Toilet facilities are on the ground floor at one end of the building. Disabled parking is available to book via our Reception. For full details of accessibility follow this link ACCESSIBILITY
