Salisbury Cathedral is a building of great spiritual and architectural beauty. Over the years, this has been captured by many in pencil, paint and photographs. Through the lens of her handmade pinhole camera, Louise Lobban has added to this dialogue, to find a new perspective. Searching, seeing, looking - capturing unique moments in the life of the Cathedral, Louise has mapped light and dark, spaces public and private, presence and absence within and without this beautiful building. The resulting images are redolent of past, present, future and other dimensions sometimes veiled by familiarity.
