Drop in and learn how to make a simple corn dolly in the old tradition. Corn dolly making is an ancient tradition for harvest time, made from the last sheath of corn cut. The Corn Spirit from the crop was supposed to live or be reborn in the plaited straw ornament or corn doll and was kept until the following spring to ensure a good harvest. You can plait simple shapes from wheat and ribbon to create lovely decorations in a variety of traditional designs.
